Ms. Slevin, a principal attorney with the firm, focuses her practice in the areas of land use, real estate development and finance, environmental law and general corporate practice. Ms. Slevin has assisted clients in the development of strategies for and acquisition of governmental approvals, environmental compliance and permitting, and the pursuit of related litigation in State and Federal Courts for commercial, industrial and residential developments throughout New York State. In the context of this work, she has provided Project management services, managing multiple ongoing projects. This work combines the knowledge and resources to define, plan, implement and integrate every aspect of a client’s comprehensive program in the many forms of land use approvals and financing, from subdivision, special permits, and variances, as well as the related permits from other state and federal agencies, including SEQRA and NEPA that are necessary to implement a project. She routinely assists individual, business, and development clients in structuring financing arrangements, including loan origination, assignments of existing lending facilities and related matters to insure a smooth transaction. Her approach to project management reflects the firm’s ability to coordinate and prioritize resources across projects, departments and entities, ensuring that resources are managed with a global focus, whether the client is a small regional or large international Company. Ms. Slevin has demonstrated through her work, that she is able to bring efficiency, control and accountability to every stage of a project, from initial master planning through authorization, contract implementation, financing and ongoing operations support. The work even, when necessary, includes litigation to defend or prosecute the rights of the client with respect to particular Project.
Ms. Slevin has further advised business clients on all phases of legal operations, including legal structure, acquisition, contracts and commercial litigation. Her clients include a national wireless system developer, technologically advanced service groups and manufacturers, major national and regional real estate developers and professional practices. She has also lectured at professional seminars on land use, real estate and general corporate law issues. Ms. Slevin served as an Administrative Law Judge for the New York State Higher Education Services Corporation for 10 years. She graduated cum laude from Albany Law School of Union University and received her undergraduate degree, cum laude, from the College of New Rochelle.

Kathleen McCaffrey Baynes practices complex and multi-party litigation in the areas of construction and Labor Law; premises liability (commercial/retail and residential); pollution claims/Navigation Law; personal injury; leasing and related contractual and insurance coverage issues; interpretation, application and coverage under liability, disability and life insurance policies and annuities; employment law and professional liability. Mr. Amodeo’s practice focuses on corporate, commercial and residential business transactions, including sales of businesses, mergers and acquisitions; purchase, sale, leasing and development of real property; 1031 tax free exchanges; financing of real property; and limited and general partnership and corporate matters. He is experienced in negotiating and structuring complex business transactions.
He also represents Offerors/Sponsors in the preparation of Offering Plans of Homeowners Association and Condominium and in the preparation of Cooperative Policy Statement Applications.
In addition, his experience includes the preparation and administration of trusts and estates, and advising clients in the area of estate planning and administration. His work product includes drafting of wills, insurance trusts, grantor retained annuity trusts, family limited partnership agreements, limited liability company operating agreements, durable powers of attorney and advance directives for health care.
Mr. Amodeo maintains a title insurance agency relationship with Stewart Title Insurance Company.
